Join Albuquerque Home Learners for a wonderful adventure in art. The teacher, Cassandra, was a huge hit with parents and students last year, and we’re looking forward to more creations this year.
The class will run in 8 week sessions, with the full session payment due by the first day of class each session. The class is limited to Kindergarten and up, and is open to a maximum of 17 students.
Classes will be held on Wednesdays near Juan Tabo and Central, from 10 to 11. Each 8 week session is only $32 per student. This includes the materials and the instruction.
Session 1 will run from August 20th to October 15th. (No class on October 1st)
Session 2 will run from October 22nd to December 17th. (No class on November 26th)
Session 1 is full.
Session 2 only has a couple spaces left.
After those currently in the art class get a chance to enroll or pass on Sessions 3 and 4, I can take sign-ups for any remaining spots. If you would like to get your name on the waiting list now, please respond to this thread.

Thanks Ann! She's sleeping really well right now, so that should help her. The kids all had their check-ups (2 months, 2 years, and 7 years) today, so she got to see the doc...she's doing fine.
Here's the deal on tomorrow's art class:
First, there was a communication glitch, and the class will not start tomorrow.
But, we will still meet at 10 a.m.. I am not posting the location here because this portion of the board is public and can be viewed by anyone. If you are interested in enrolling in this art class, please see the information in the first post of this thread.
Ann Overstreet’s father-in-law http://roadrunnersinternationale.com/overstreet.html will tell us about his experience in the CIA as a U2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Usaf.u2.750pix.jpg#file Pilot. What a rare opportunity!
I am coming up with some kind of craft/art activity, related to the U2, for the kids to do after they’ve learned about the plane. If you have any pens/crayons/colored pencils, please bring them with you. Scissors would also be good.
I will have to revise the 8 week schedule, and I will be able to have that for you tomorrow.
Gathering tomorrow will give the kids a chance to catch-up prior to the first “formal” class next week.
I really apologize for the confusion, but I am grateful for the opportunity that it gives us to meet a U2 Pilot.

| Ann, It was so wonderful of your FIL to share his experiences with the kids. Some day, when Dallin is old enough to really understand the importance of the U2 in our history, he will be thrilled to know that he met a U2 pilot. Thank you!
