A diverse, yet unified organization of homeschooling families who work collectively and cooperatively to provide encouragement, support, resources, classes, fieldtrips and both social and educational activities and opportunities to its members and their children. We are working to build a fellowship which recognizes each member's valuable contribution. Our operation is based upon mutual respect, member initiative, and a democratically based decision making process. We acknowledge a responsibility to one another, as well as to our local community. We will allow our group to evolve as our enrollment, and our children, grow.

This month, members of Albuquerque Home Learners will be participating in/attending the following events:

Weekly Art Classes, Park Day, Reptile and Amphibian Class, Popejoy Hall-Schooltime Series Plays, Presbyterian Health Fair for Kids, Rocket Presentation and Demonstration, Lesson in Popcorn and Cotton Candy Making, and more.

This month members of Albuquerque Home Learners will be meeting RSVP deadlines to participate in the following events in May:

Tour a Local Airport to Learn About the Science and Mechanics of Aircraft, Visit the Southwest Soaring Museum and Watch Gliders in Action at the Moriarty Airport, Fieldtrip with a Hayride to Wildlife West, Wildlife Rescue Presentation and more.

Most of these events are free, the others have nominal fees. If you would like to learn more about Albuquerque Home Learners so that you can take advantage of these opportunities, please email membership at abqhomelearners@yahoo.com.
