A diverse, yet unified organization of homeschooling families who work collectively and cooperatively to provide encouragement, support, resources, classes, fieldtrips and both social and educational activities and opportunities to its members and their children. We are working to build a fellowship which recognizes each member's valuable contribution. Our operation is based upon mutual respect, member initiative, and a democratically based decision making process. We acknowledge a responsibility to one another, as well as to our local community. We will allow our group to evolve as our enrollment, and our children, grow.

Albuquerque Home Learners is open to and welcomes children of all ages, from birth to age 18. The bulk of our children are currently between the ages of 3 and 11, however all are welcome. All homeschoolers, regardless of religious affiliation and including those participating in Family School, are welcome to join us.

We highly encourage parents to be involved in creating opportunities for their children and the other children within our homeschooling community.
