Please note: Many ISPs block email from the shared server we are on, simply because the server generates mass emails...which is the whole point in having a message board. For that reason, we can not promise that you will get message notifications. The best bet, if you rely on notifications, is to open a gmail account and have your notifications sent there.
Click on "my account" in the upper, right side of your screen.
Click on the "watched forums" tab.
Place a "bullet mark" in the circle next to either "posts as they come in" or "daily digest".
In the left hand column, place check marks next to any forum you would like to receive notifications from when new posts are made.
In the bottom right hand corner, click "save".
As new forums are added, it will be necessary to repeat this process to add the new forums you want notifications from.

If you are receiving Topic Notifications in addition to the post, you will need to check on a couple of things.
First, go to My Account, and to the Preferences tab. Make sure that the box that says "Always notify by e-mail when replies posted to topics you participated in" is unchecked.
If that doesn't fix the problem, then go into "Watched Topics" and delete all the topics you don't want to be notified of by checking the boxes clicking "Delete Selected".
Also, be sure that when you post a topic that you do not mark to be notified of posts to that thread if you have already made that forum a Watched Forum.
