A diverse, yet unified organization of homeschooling families who work collectively and cooperatively to provide encouragement, support, resources, classes, fieldtrips and both social and educational activities and opportunities to its members and their children. We are working to build a fellowship which recognizes each member's valuable contribution. Our operation is based upon mutual respect, member initiative, and a democratically based decision making process. We acknowledge a responsibility to one another, as well as to our local community. We will allow our group to evolve as our enrollment, and our children, grow.

Coffee Clay
2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
1/8 cup instant coffee
3/4 cup warm water

Dissolve coffee in warm water. In a separate bowl mix salt and flour. Form a indentation in the dough ball and pour in about half of the coffee. Mix until creamy smooth. Add more coffee water as needed and work until it is a clay-like consistency (not sticky). Design away. Bake finished goods in a 250 degree oven for an hour or until dry. Paint and finish with shellac, varnish or plastic spray finish. Store remaining dough in a covered jar or plastic bag.
