Kids will need help with the cooking part of this, but they can help you mix the ingredients and form the balls.
INGREDIENTS
  • 9 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 ounce) package large marshmallows
  • 6 tablespoons fruit flavored gelatin mix, any flavor
DIRECTIONS

Place popcorn in a large bowl; set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat.
Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat.
When cool enough to handle, lightly butter hands and quickly shape mixture into balls.
Makes 12 balls.
