A diverse, yet unified organization of homeschooling families who work collectively and cooperatively to provide encouragement, support, resources, classes, fieldtrips and both social and educational activities and opportunities to its members and their children. We are working to build a fellowship which recognizes each member's valuable contribution. Our operation is based upon mutual respect, member initiative, and a democratically based decision making process. We acknowledge a responsibility to one another, as well as to our local community. We will allow our group to evolve as our enrollment, and our children, grow.

From Roadside Fans Yahoo Group:
2008 SCA Conference: Albuquerque, NM
The Society for Commercial Archeology has announced
its 2008 conference, to be held September 11 -14 in
Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Details are limited, but the conference will focus on
the roadsides of the American Southwest. It will
include some of those wonderful SCA bus tours, where
you will have ample opportunity to photograph vintage
motels and neon signs. Given the location, expect that
Route 66 will be part of the tour route.

For further details, keep checking the SCA web site at
http://www.sca- roadside. org
